Imperial Point is a lovely neighborhood of sidewalks and streetlights, of manicured and lovingly landscaped yards, and beautifully painted and maintained homes. Our homes in Imperial Point still offer the ten different floor plans from the original builder, but, as is the case with almost all Fort Lauderdale Real Estate, almost of them have been modified in one way or another in the preceding almost 50 years.
The homes are generally made of concrete, block, and stucco, originally with poured Terrazzo floors, and sheetrock interior walls. According to many of the workmen who service the homes in Imperial Point, the homes remain square and plumb. The pride in workmanship, and the quality of the work is still readily visible.
Most of the homes were built in the 1960’s, and are nestled on an average lot size of 100′ x 80′. A few are on waterfront lots. Waterfront homes in Imperial Point and its sister community, Coral Ridge Isles, have ocean access with 2 Fixed Bridges. The beaches of Lauderdale By The Sea, Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach are only a few short minutes away by bicycle or car.
