With a name inspired by the Spanish word for “adventure,” the City of Aventura, home to some of South Florida’s most prestigious condominium towers, is a premier international destination for shopping and recreation. Located on the Intracoastal Waterway in northeast Miami-Dade County between Miami International and Fort Lauderdale International Airports, the city was incorporated in 1995.
